Thank you for showing interest in applying here at Horizon Realms. To ensure you give yourself your best chance at getting to Stage 2, ensure you read through this thread thoroughly and ensure you meet the requirements to apply for staff.
Failure to do so will likely result in your application being denied pretty quickly.
Applicant Requirements
(Format at the bottom of the thread)
- You must be at least 13 years old.
- You must be have a good understanding of at least one game mode we offer, for example Survival or Skyblock.
- You must have a working microphone.
- You must be able to record your game in at least 30 FPS.
- You must play on the Java edition of Minecraft.
- You must have a Discord account.
- You must have a relatively clean punishment history.
- You must have a good understanding of Horizon's rules.
- You should have at least 30 hours playtime across the network, this excludes AFK hours, which is logged. (We can give exceptions to this requirement where appropriate, reviewed on a case-by-case basis)
Ensure you put plenty of effort into your application, we recommend a minimum of 600 words. A lack of effort is usually an instant denial.
Do NOT use AI to generate your application. It's fairly easy to see if an application is AI generated, and you'll be instantly denied.
Other Information
All staff applications are public on the forums, meaning any registered user can read your application. For this reason, we recommend not including any personal information or information you would not want to be seen by the public.
Members of the community are invited to comment their opinions on applications, we'd love to hear your thoughts on past experiences with potential members of our team! Something helpful for staff would be like the following; "+1 for (name), they've helped me a few times when I've needed it in-game and is very active!".
It is worth noting the final decision may not necessarily be influenced by the opinion of the community. 10 positive comments does not mean a guaranteed acceptance, just as 10 negative comments does not mean a guaranteed denial, the final decision will always be made by management.
